Having had the priviledge of attending a key-note speach from a Ritz-Carlton trainer, I wholly concur that they are well deserving of this award! Congrats to all the "Ladies and Gentlemen" who earned this recognition!

Which St. Joseph's Hospital came in at number 81? There are several St. Joseph's Hospitals throughout the country.

Patsy,
That's St. Joseph's in Atlanta. This is the hospital's first time applying in the competition. Hope that helps!

How does a company get nominated for this award? Or, do they apply for consideration?

Companies and nonprofit organizations alike can apply to be a part of the Training Top 125. Applications are typically available in the summer and are due back to Training's editors in the fall. More information will be available in the coming months at www.trainingmag.com.

I'm really surprised Best Buy is on this list. I worked there a couple years ago and was disappointed with the training. It seemed to have good intentions, but just didn't quite meet the needs of the new employees. But maybe that was just my store...

just inquiring if this list is chronological?
i am pleased to see i have worked for a couple companies throughout time & that my medical care is on the list~kaiser.

DF,
Not sure what you mean by chronological...the companies are ranked on a range of data about their training budgets, corporate universities and evaluation metrics. Hope that clarifies.

I enjoyed looking through your webpages. They are very insightful. I was hoping you had some jobs around the Michigan area that needed to be fulled.

You could have also included other Asian companies like from the Philippines

I observed an agency advertising that they've won this 2007 award on their web page... yet I don't see them on the list. They should be ashamed!
Congratulations to those who truly earned it! A job well-done!
