It's a sad commentary on the state of our materialistic society when a holiday that is supposed to focus us on peace, love and charity causes stress and anger instead. Instead of always trying to outdo the neighbors or ourselves with gifts, parties, and decorations, if we just focused our attentions and efforts at increasing the peace, love and charity in the world, much of the stress associated with the holiday season would disappear. Just my humble opinion.

Angry in L.A.

As an anger management teacher in Los Angeles, you would be surprised at the number of referrals I receive around the Holiday. Corporations would benefit from sending employees or setting up instructional seminars in an effort to avoid unwanted stress and violence among their workforce.
