This Weekend Go High Tech
So, you've been putting off the whole Web 2.0 thing. It seems a little overwhelming, even scary at times. Well, to help cure you of your technophobia, I have some weekend assignments. To gently guide you into Web 2.0 do the following some time this weekend. It is fun and a great way to get your feet wet in the Web 2.0. If you are having trouble, ask your kids for help.
- Go to YouTube and watch The Machine is Us/ing Us.
- Go to Wikipedia and modify the entry on Training and Development. (ethically and correctly)
- Make a comment on a blog. I think this one would be a good start.
- Listen to a podcast (don't even need an iPod). Here is a link to one that plays in your browser. It is a podcast about podcasting. (it does take a little while to download but worth it.)
These are easy assignments and you have no excuse not to engage. Have fun and let me know how you did by posting a comment here.
